Ummm what is happening?
When did hockey teams start scoring double digit goals in one game. I miss Patrick Roy and the good ol’ 2 to 1 games. I think it is only fair to blame Canada.

Looking forward to the Bears 2012 season.
I like to post once a year so don’t mind me.
As a bears fan, I am incredibly excited for the upcoming season. Off-season acquisitions of Brandon Marshall and Michael Bush have got me all kinds of giddy. Cutler finally has a true #1 receiver to throw to. It has proven to be a successful relationship in the past and hopefully it will continue to be in Chicago. Bush provides a true number 2 running back that is probably good enough to start for 70% of the league. Huge boost for our backfield. (Sorry Marion, you really screwed the pooch) Jeremy Cambell is an upgrade at back up QB. He at least provides some kind of security if Cutler gets hurt again.
Beyond players, I have liked what Phil Emery is doing so far as the new general manager. He as been a lot more aggressive than Angelo was and hopefully he continues to do so. We have seven picks in the upcoming draft and I think we have the opportunity to pick up some high quality players.
Schedule was released today and there is not a single game on there that is out of reach for these bears. Can’t wait to see the season unfold!!

Am I only the only person who thought Stern was a terrible commissioner before this Chris Paul debacle? This veto business did not surprise me at all. It sucked, was terribly unfair, and totally unsurprising.
Tarnished a legacy? Please.
This man let the Sonics get ripped from Seattle, forced his…

From my daughter, ‘I saw Lebron James & asked for $1. He gave me $.75. I said where’s the rest? He replied, ‘I don’t have a 4th quarter.’

Shaq will be missed…
After 19 years, Shaq has retired. He played for 6 different teams and with hundreds of players. He was a class act and he will be missed.
He will be missed not only because of how he dominated the game, but because of how he approached it. He had an incredible desire to win, but he never stopped having fun.
He is really the first player in my life that I truly got to watch his entire career and admire it. I was 2 or 3 years old when he was breaking glass at LSU and then got to watch his entire NBA career evolve. He was so fun to watch and I am sure he won’t sink into the shadows. Hopefully we will see him as an analyst very soon.

Ouch.
Ohio State fans are not going to be happy after the news released this morning. Tressel resigned this morning because of all the happenings surrounding his football team. It is really sad because he is an amazing football coach. It is also sad because he is such a classy dresser. Good luck finding a replacement OSU.
